Descrizione

PhD seminar (Business and Management Department) held by Maurizio Zollo, Professor of Strategy and Sustainability at Bocconi University.
There is broad agreement on the fact that the 2030 Agenda cannot be realised without the contribution of the private economic sector.  Less clear is the nature of such contribution for the success of the initiatives related to realise each of the SDGs.  We propose a comprehensive innovation and experimentation program focused on the evolution of the logic of the business enterprise towards the joint creation of economic and social value for its key stakeholders. Inclusive forms of business enterprise have been emerging as potential game changers in the global search for sustainable development models, but there is little clarity as to how existing business forms can evolve towards such innovative models.  The proposed program builds on 15 years of collaborative research conducted by a large community of scholars, companies and international institutions under the GOLDEN for Sustainability banner.  We will summarise the insights from the past collective efforts, and propose innovative ways to proceed on this agenda.
